Gottscheer Tanz und Spielkreis

The Gottscheer Tanz und Spielkreis focus is on Austrian Folkdances and Viennese Ball venues. Repertoire includes, folk dances from all regions of Austria, Switzerland, Germany and choreographed Vienna Ball pieces from the golden age of Vienna’s Operatic Era. The Viennese dances include selections from Strauss, Lehar, Mozart, Waldteufel, Ziehrer, Stoltz and more.

The group is made up of over 20 members starting as young as 14. The Tanz und Spielkreis performs across Ohio, Canada, Europe as well as at their sister club in New York. Most recently, the group performed at the top of every hour on the Cleveland Glockenspiel at the Cleveland Oktoberfest! Aside from the Cleveland Oktoberfest, you can find the Gottscheer Tanz und Spielkreis at the Columbus Oktoberfest, German Central, E.O.U.V. events and much more! Kris and the dancers would like to thank everyone who have supported them through the years and drive all over to attend the events and cheer them on.
